- Weigh your cat to select the right dosage pack.
- Just before application, remove the liquid applicator from its package.
- Hold the applicator upright and twist and pull off its cap.
- Place the other end of the cap back on the applicator by turning it.
- Push and twist the cap to break the seal and remove it from the applicator.
- Part the cat's hair in front of its shoulder blades at the base of the neck until the skin is visible.
- Place the applicator tip onto the cat's skin.
- Squeeze the applicator several times and empty its contents onto a single spot on the cat's skin.
- For heartworm prevention, administer within one month of the cat's first exposure to mosquitoes and every month thereafter until one month after the last exposure to mosquitoes.
- If you miss a dose, administer a dose immediately and continue with the monthly schedule.
- When replacing it with another heartworm preventive, administer the first dose of Selehold within one month of the last dose of the former heartworm preventive.
- For ear mite treatment, do not apply it directly to the ear canal.

For Cats:
Selehold for Cats is for external use only. Do not administer it orally. It can be used on pregnant, breeding and lactating cats. Consult a veterinarian before using it in cats with existing heartworm infections. Before application, cats 6 months or older should be tested for existing heartworms. Infected cats should be treated to remove adult heartworms as per vet recommendations.
This topical flea and worm treatment is not suitable for kittens under six weeks of age. Do not use it on debilitated cats or cats suffering from concomitant disease. Do not use in cats sensitive to selamectin. Avoid applying it to a wet coat and do not shampoo your cat frequently. Keep the treated cat away from sources of ignition for at least 30 minutes after application or until the application is dry.
For Humans:
Wash your hands after use. If you are sensitive to selamectin, talk to your healthcare professional before handling this product. Avoid smoking, eating or drinking while applying this treatment. Do not contact the treated animal until the application is dry.
General:
Keep it in the original packaging until ready to use.
