Valuheart for Dogs
Valuheart for Dogs is a generic heartworm preventive which has been designed to provide cost-effective alternative to control heartworm disease. It does not compromise on the safety element. This monthly treatment eliminates the heartworm larvae that infect the pet during the previous month. This ingenious heartworm treatment can be given to breeding bitches and old dogs.
It is safe to be given to dogs and puppies at least 6 weeks of age and more
How It Works?
Valuheart for Dogs contains Ivermectin as an active ingredient. Ivermectin, a broad spectrum antiparasitic agent works against heartworm larvae and destroys them completely. It has no apparent side effects in dogs and puppies.
Ingredients: Ivermectin
- Before commencing the treatment weigh your dog
- Select the appropriate pack according to the weight of the dog
- Start administering the tablets by orally giving the tablet to the dog in mouth or mix it with the dog food
- You can treat puppies at 6 weeks of age
- Administer this oral treatment on a monthly basis all year round on the same day for all round protection from heartworm infection
- If your dog is more than 88 lbs (40 Kg) then use apt combination of tablets according to the weight of your dog
- This treatment can be given along with other flea and tick treatments
- If you forget to give a dose consult with your veterinarian before commencing the dose again

Contraindications:
- If your dog is allergic to Ivermectin then do not administer this treatment especially collies including border collies.
- Puppies younger than 6 weeks of age should not be administered this oral treatment.
