• Weigh your dog and select the dosage pack closest to their weight.
• Hold the applicator upright and pull off the cap.
• Reverse the cap and push it back on the applicator.
• Break the seal by twisting the cap.
• If your dog is wearing a Seresto collar, do not remove the collar before application. If your dog is wearing any other collar, remove it just before applying the treatment and put it back on the dog once the application is dry.
• When applying the treatment, your dog should be in a standing position.
• Part the dog's fur between their shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
• Apply the treatment to the skin by placing the tip of the applicator on the skin and squeezing it.
• This formula stays effective following swimming, exposure to rain or shampoo treatment.
• If you are bathing your dog between treatments, it is indicated that you use a soap-free shampoo.
• As part of ongoing flea prevention, treat all dogs in the same environment every month.
• To prevent heartworm disease, administer Advantage Multi one month before your dog's first exposure to mosquitoes. Dogs should be tested for heartworms before using this treatment.

Why do I still see fleas on my dog after using Advantage Multi?

The fleas you see on your pet are only 5% of a flea infestation; the rest 95% of it is due to the life cycle in the dog's surroundings, which can infest your dog even when adult fleas are killed. Over time, the immature fleas grow into adults and lead to an active infestation.

These fleas must come into contact with your dog to be killed by the treatment. The hair and skin shed by a treated dog contain imidacloprid that is enough to kill flea larvae in the environment.
