Nexgard Plus Flea, Tick, Heartworm & Worm Treatment for Dogs
Nexgard Plus is a broad-spectrum treatment for dogs that provides protection against both external and internal parasites. This monthly treatment is indicated for use in eight weeks and older puppies and dogs, weighing four pounds or more. It is prepared in a delicious, beef-flavor, soft chewable form for easy administration and it is readily accepted by all dogs.
Nexgard Plus All-in-one Protection
Nexgard Plus is comprised of a powerful combination of three high-quality ingredients, i.e. afoxolaner, moxidectin, and pyrantel to offer protection against all the major parasites in one dose.
A single dose of Nexgard Plus every month,

Flea Protection

How does Nexgard Plus work?
Nexgard Plus is made of afoxolaner, moxidectin and pyrantel (as pamoate salt). Afoxolaner inhibits neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid chloride channels, blocking the transfer of chloride ions across cell membranes. This results in uncontrolled activity of the nervous system and death of fleas and ticks.
Moxidectin interferes with neurotransmission in susceptible parasites causing paralysis and death of parasites, preventing heartworm disease caused by dirofilaria immitis. Pyrantel causes depolarization at the neuromuscular junction which results in paralysis and death of parasites such as roundworms and hookworms.
Ingredients:
Afoxolaner, Moxidectin, Pyrantel (as pamoate salt)
- Nexgard Plus is not effective against adult (D. immitis) heartworms. Therefore, dogs should be tested for any existing heartworm infestation prior to administration.
- Weigh your dog and select the suitable pack according to their weight.
- Give Nexgard Plus orally, once every month. It can be given with or without food ensuring the dog consumes the complete dose.
- The minimum recommended dosage is 1.14 mg/lb (2.5mg/kg) afoxolaner, 5.45 mcg/lb (12mcg/kg) moxidectin and 2.27 mg/lb (5.0mg/kg) pyrantel (as pamoate salt).
