• Wear gloves.
• Open the pouch of Bravecto Plus just before use and remove the pipette.
• Hold the pipette in an upright position at the crimped end with its tip up.
• Rotate the cap one full turn clockwise or counterclockwise.
• Once you hear the breaking of the seal, the pipette is open and ready for use.
• Do not remove the cap; leave it attached.
• Ensure the cat is in a standing or lying position with its back horizontal when applying the treatment.
• Part the cat's hair until the skin is visible and place the tip of the pipette vertically against the skin at the base of the cat's skull.
• Gently apply the entire contents by squeezing the pipette directly to the cat's skin.
• Avoid applying an excessive quantity of the solution at a single spot, as this may cause some of the liquid to run and drip off the skin.
• If you need a second spot to apply the solution, do it behind the first spot.
• To prevent heartworm disease, use Bravecto Plus at 2-month intervals throughout the year. Start treatment at the cat's first seasonal exposure to mosquitoes and continue until the last seasonal exposure.
• When you miss a dose or the interval is increased between doses, administer one dose immediately and continue every 2 months.
• When switching from your cat’s monthly heartworm preventive, administer the first dose of Bravecto Plus within one month of the last dose of the former treatment.
