How to Use Panacur Worming Granules for Cats

  • Weigh your cat for the right dosage.
  • It is indicated to administer these granules orally by mixing them into the cat's food.

Treatment For Adult Cats

  • Administer 100 mg of fenbendazole per 2.2 lbs of body weight as a single dose.
  • If your cat is infected again, repeat the treatment.
  • For routine treatment of adult cats with minimal exposure to infection, it is indicated 2-4 times a year.

Dosage

  • 1 g sachet/dose treats 4.4 lbs of body weight as a single dose (1.1 - 2.2 kg).
  • 1.8 g sachet/dose treats 8.8 lbs of body weight as a single dose (2.3 – 4.4 kg).
  • 4.5 g sachet/dose treats 22 lbs of body weight as a single dose (4.5 – 10 kg).

Treatment For Weaned Kittens

  • Administer 50 mg fenbendazole per 2.2 lbs of body weight daily for 3 consecutive days for weaned kittens under 6 months of age.

Dosage

  • 1 g sachet/dose treats 8.8 lbs of body weight, dosed daily for 3 consecutive days (2.2 – 4.4 kg).
  • 1.8 g sachet/dose treats 17.6 lbs of body weight, dosed daily for 3 consecutive days (4.5 – 8.0 kg).
  • 4.5 g sachet/dose treats 44 lbs of body weight, dosed daily for 3 consecutive days (8.1 – 20 kg).

Treatment for Lungworms

  • Administer 50 mg fenbendazole per 2.2 lbs of body weight daily for 3 consecutive days for the control of lungworm (Aelurostrongylus abstrusus) infections.
Safety

For Cats:

This treatment should not be used in kittens under two weeks of age. It is for oral use only. Talk to a vet before treating your cats with this wormer. It only kills the Taenia species of tapeworms.
