CREDELIO flea and tick treatment for dogs is a unique treatment that comes in a tasty beef-flavored chew and is amazingly effective on fleas(Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks [Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick) and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick)]. The oral treatment remains active for an entire month and kills all the existing fleas within 12 hours of administration. The palatable chew can be fed to puppies 8 weeks of age and older, and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater.
How It Works?
The active ingredient present in the treatment is Lotilaner - a member of the isoxazoline group. The complex compound gets into the blood after digestion and reaches the tissue fluids. So, whenever these bloodsuckers bite your pooch to feed they also suck in lotilaner, which then overstimulates their nervous system hence causing death.
Ingredients: Lotilaner
- For the pups 8 weeks of age and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater
- Should be fed with the food
- Should be given within 30 mins of feeding the meal
- The treatment should be administered monthly
- The minimum dosage of Lotilaner should be 9 mg/lb (20 mg/kg)
