Question from Eoin M.

I have a 10 year old cat Zoe who is peeing everywhere in my bed, in her bed and sleeping in her litter box. This has started when I got another cat Tucker a few weeks back. He has been eating and drinking normally. Is there anything I can do before taking him to the vet?

Our Vet Says:

Since you have got a new cat Tucker, Zoe is not happy as he thinks that Tucker is invading his territory. In this scenario, I suggest that you have two different litter boxes one for each cat. This is plain bad behavior by Zoe and this is due to the arrival of Tucker. It has been observed that it may take some time for you even months to correct the behavior. I would recommend you to separate the two litter boxes and not allow Tucker to access the litter box that Zoe uses.
