My cat Smokey was electrocuted 7 days earlier. Now he has developed blackish, woody front paws which have become insensitive. Although he seems to climb, eat well I am really concerned about the effect of the wound on him. Is it possible that he can develop septic condition in the wounded area?
Our Vet Says:
Yes, it is possible that Smokey may get infection in that area. Therefore, my suggestion would be to visit the veterinarian since he/ she will be able to provide better a definite solution to the problem. It is also possible that there may not be any problem with him. It is totally contingent on the intensity of the electrocution and the area where he was electroculated.
